Anyone alter their veil?

Karen, on May 29, 2018 at 5:50 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 3
Has anyone shortened or taken off the blusher to their veil? Did you do it or did a seamstress do it? Is this something easy for a seamstress to do?

I'm playing with the idea of making my own birdcage. I just don't see what I want out there.

Not altering one, but actually making my own. I want a two tier chapel length with a detachable blusher to wear the blusher over my face during procession, abs as the main veil during Ceremony. I'm doing a test one using YouTube videos and will do my real one at I figure out my mistakes

Hi Karen! I would suggest letting the seamstress do it especially with the delicate fabric. I can't imagine that it would be incredibly hard to do as they are trained and experienced in this area. Are you having alterations done to your gown? If so, try taking the veil to whoever is altering your dress and see what they recommend. They may be able to get the job done for you or point you in the direction of someone who can!
