What's something you regret doing or wish you waited longer to decide on? I wish I wasn't so quick to ask someone who does makeup to do mines for my wedding day. I wish I wasn't so quick to ask someone who does makeup to do mines for my wedding day. She doesn't have a lot of her own makeup and wants me to buy makeup for the makeup trial (which makes no sense to me since I do not wear makeup and would probably never use the makeup again). On top of whatever fee she is going to charge. Now it's weird for me bc I found MUA who are able to bring their own makeup for the makeup trial and for the day of the wedding. (I have the option to buy if I want.)

I'm hoping she doesn't take offense to this and understands. My bridal party also wants there makeup done and we're different skin types, so that means they'll have to buy their own makeup as well. Def not an additional expense I want to put on them.

Anything u wish you took more time to decide on? Maybe you asked someone to do something too quickly? Or bought something you thought you needed?

My only regret is that I wish I had thought more on our colors. I wish I had went with the very easy colors like gray and yellow or something. Sage just has too many variations and me and FH STILL don't agree on what shade it actually is...lol

@ Christine It always amazes me when ppl think they seem to know what's "best" for your wedding, but these same ppl aren't contributing $1. smh! Not to say they should pay for stuff, but you can't possibly tell me I should include this and that, but not offer to pay for it. Everyone seems to know what's best for. It's different if I ask, but I've honestly been good with figuring things out with FH. I feel like it gets more complicated and become more stressful when u start to involving more and more ppl in the planning process.

@ Piecesofadream lol, that could be tricky.... I've seen ppl use purple in there wedding and have variety of shades. Maybe that would work for you guys?

One of my biggest regrets was asking some of the ladies that were asked to be in my bridal party, when I did. I figured because they were my FRIENDS for basically all of my life, it would have been okay. No mam', nothing like it. They showed their true colors and we are no longer what I thought we always were. We did finally decide to have our wedding elsewhere, just us and the kids:-) Having a wedding any other way, would have gotten on my nerves!!!!

I could have put more effort into things like the centerpieces etc, but I just wanted to be married that I ended up not caring that much about that sort of stuff.

I'm feeling the exact same way! And we decided to start a business in the mix of this. Not having a big wedding but it's still more costly compared to eloping. Anyone felt this way before the bug day then felt differently post wedding??
