Any surprises?

My husbands birthday was at midnight, so I surprised him with a cake and we all sang Happy Birthday to him.

Hi ! Nope... there was a loooot to plan already, the whole day was a surprise for my guests ;-) I had a surprise for my husband though - a funny book about our couple.

I had a jean jacket embroidered with my soon to be new last name. I am going to put it on over my dress before our grand entrance into the reception & surprise him

OH I know!!!! I started feeling overwhelmed this week with everything that needs to be done yet. There are elements that are going to be a surprise such as my dress (a more obvious choice), the song for my processional, the vows, and I have a gift for him. I was just curious to see what sort of things other couples were doing as surprises for their Future Spouse

So about my husband, I offered him a book like this : https://lovebookonline.com/ , we still like to look at it ;-)

And we had a surprise prepared by my bridesmaids and their partners - a nice film telling the story of us...

I think that the biggest surprise for our guests was the fact that I was saying the vows in my husband's language, and he said it in mine. I think his performance was very surprising and touching - our photographer, a stranger to us, cried !

My FH loves cigars so I'm sending a box for him and the groomsmen as they are getting ready.

I'm doing a boudoir shoot for him and getting our last name engraved and wedding date on it.
I will present this to him before we part for the day...

I am writing my FH a small note/letter once a month each month that we are engaged about what weve been doing, how excited I am to marry him, when I got my dress and how badly I wanted to tell him about it (he still doesnt know that I bought my dress). I plan on giving him the letters when we part for the night after the rehearsal. I will probably add some other surprises but thats the one Im excited about.

We are doing a surprise first dance that we have been taking lessons on

The only surprise I have planned is I am doing a surprise mother/daughter dance. And then my gift to my FH is going to be personalized cuff links with his grandparents picture on them.
