Any size 12/14 brides care to share?

Girl I wouldn't worry about your size! It's crazy because in "regular clothes" I'm a size 10/12. I tried on a gown that was a size 16. Still a little just a little tight in the hip/butt area....so I ordered a size 18. My top bust area I'm about a 34 in bra so the dress needs alterations. But I say get the dress to fit you not the other way around. However lol there is a however i had a baby last year and struggling to loose weight so I had my wedding to be my goal. So far down -13lbs. Have fun dress shopping!!! So much fun. Try on lots of different styles. I tried on styles I didn't know I'd love more than what I thought I did

Hopefully u get an amazing consultant like I had in the dress I bought my dress from. Like PP I'm a 10/12 in regular close and dress was ordered in a 16. Most samples did not fit me. She did not let that be the reason I couldn't see how beautiful the dresses looked on me. She pulled it in and pointed out my features in a positive light. I went to two other shops to look which I had terrible experiences at. Ended up going with one at the original shop that I loved!

My blue jeans are a 12, I think my dress is a 16 maybe a 18.

Okay I just have to say all brides are "real brides." Don't worry about sizing. I wear a street 16 and my dress is a size 24. At first I was depressed af about it but now it doesn't bother me.

My street clothes size is 6 and my dress is a size 12!

I'm a size 14 with my wedding dress but a size 6 in everything else.

I wear 8/10/12 in street clothes and ordered a size 12 dress. I was worried about samples not fitting, but they make it work. A lot of shops have a lot of sizes too. You'll be fine!

@TimeLadyErika-- yes I know we're all real brides but I meant that I wanted to see how people my size look, as opposed to me googling size 12/14 models.

Wedding dresses are super small, don't worry! I wear a pants size 12 , in David's Bridal a size 12 dress worked but I ended up ordering an allure romance at a boutique and my dress is a 14. Fits like a glove.

14 street size here. I had very few samples I couldn't get into. I was pleasantly surprised at how great my experience was at all 5 shops I went to was.

Girl don't stress! They'll only put you in gowns that (mostly) fit. I'm a 10 in jeans, my dress is a 14.
