Any regrets on spending too much at your wedding?!

I never thought planning would be so stressful and all the money being spent, makes a bit question why are we spending all of this?!! I have a particular vision but it’s turning out to be super expensive. Is there anything you had regrets on spending money on or wish you would have spent more money on?

I hear you. I lost my job while planning, found another but at 1/3 the pay. We really couldn’t pull back on anything at that point and didn’t want to but I had a few breakdowns over unexpected costs. That hurts the most. You estimate one number but it’s like, “Wait, rental delivery fees are what???” 😜

We didn't have any regrets for our wedding and we spent a lot on it. I think we spent too much on flowers and should have spent more no some other aspect (probably a more expensive DOC or a second photographer).

I think about the money and how stressful it is, but then I imagine the day i get to marry my FH and be surrounded by everyone we love and care about. We haven’t had a wedding in both our families in a very long time, so it’s nice to have everyone come together to celebrate us. We even have family coming from Asia and all over the US. FH always tells me this will only happen once for us and we gotta make it special.

Throughout planning I would stop and think, it's insane to spend so much money on this. But I don't regret a single penny. It was 100% worth it.

I am still in the planning process for my wedding, but I can say I do regret spending $900 on our wedding and groomsman cake! I know for sure the cakes are going to be great but for me and my fiancee, that's just too much!

While planning it was like "whoa how much are the alterations, shoes, cake, etc...?" However, after seeing the final result on the wedding day and all of my pictures and video, zero regrets here, 100% worth it. If I could do it all over, I'd spend the exact same lol.

I think this all the time too! You have to use savings for the big fun things once in a while too!

I am back, my wedding was Friday and in hindsight I would change my mind and say all it was all WORTH it! No regrets because it was a perfect day if joyful memories, venue and food were top notch and everyone had a BLAST!
