Saw this old thread and couldn’t resist adding that I’ve had great luck asking DJs for sample mixes or recordings from real weddings. It makes it much easier to see if their style fits what you want. For coordinators, I usually ask how they handle last‑minute changes. Anyone else recently book someone they loved?

A venue coordinator usually refers to someone who works for the venue that you select. A wedding planner or consultant will be a separate person or company that can either help with the overall design or can have just a day-of coordination of the event. You may then search for wedding planners or coordinators.
