Any other Blush Hayley Paige Spring '18 line brides out there?

Caroline, on June 7, 2018 at 6:25 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 4

Hi guys!

I'm wondering if there is anyone else out there that ordered a dress that was part of the Blush by HP Spring '18 line? And if so, has it come in yet?

I ordered my dress (Fleur de lis, #1817) at the salon in October 2017, (they said the order wouldn't be placed until early November). They originally told me 6-7 months so an April/May time frame. I emailed them last week to follow up, and they weren't super helpful, just said it should've been here in May but there are things outside their control with production schedules ,etc, and that the dress would hopefully be in soon.

Is it common for Hayley Paige dresses to take 8+ months to come in? I'm starting to worry that my order was lost somewhere lol. My wedding isn't until October 2018, but I was hoping it would be in earlier so I could start alterations since my schedule is pretty hectic.

I didnt order a Haley Paige dress but the salon should be able to reach out to production to check for you. I would call and talk to the manager. The answer they gave you was crappy.

Hi Caroline!! That is such a gorgeous gown! I'm sorry you're experiencing this! If the order wasn't actually placed until early November and it has a 6-7 month production time, that would put you at May/June. I would definitely give it a week and follow up again. Also, ask the salon if they can reach out for a more accurate ship date. Will the dress go to the salon once it comes in? They may be able to see where it is in production and when it's expected to ship. In my experience working with dresses and designers production can take awhile but if you are working with a shop that is ordering directly with the designer, they should definitely be able to provide a clear answer!

Thanks everyone! Unfortunately the woman who answered my emails was actually the owner, so there is no one higher than her to reach out too. The bridal salon is a small shop and I think she's very overwhelmed and feels the need to respond to her customers' emails quickly. Although, I'd rather her take longer and actually give me a better response lol.

The dress will be going to the salon when it's in. One of the reasons I choose this salon was because it was one of the few shops in the country that had the dress to try on at the time without having to wait for a trunk show. The shop is about 1.5 hours from where my wedding is, and 5 hours from where I'm currently living, so I was just hoping it would be in sooner so I could arrange my fittings early on. Highly considering just taking the unaltered dress when it's in and doing fittings at a place close to me now.

Anyway, I'll plan on waiting another week and reach out again requesting more specifics.

If anyone else has experienced long lead times with HP let me know!
