Any nursing students planning a wedding?

Is it possible to plan/have a wedding and go on a honeymoon while in nursing school? I feel like I should wait until I graduate but don't want to wait four years to marry my FH!

I am all for managing the time it's doable. I am currently in a nurse practitioner program and do that full time with clinical hours etc and work part time as an RN and planning the wedding and finding time to hit the gym etc.

You just have to be regimented and OK with giving up

    Some fun for a little!!!

I think it's doable. I'm in a masters program for speech Language pathology and plenty of my classmates have had weddings and newborns during the past year, but me personally I wouldn't. It's all about what you can handle, but I'd rather stay off anxiety meds and keep my sanity haha we had planned for next summer as I'd have a break from school n work but I've decided to push it back even further until I'm done with school in 2019 since we will probably be moving after I'm done with school.

It's possible, but damn. I worked full time as a child protective services social worker while I was in nursing school. I had a near panic attack every semester. But if you're a traditional student and just planning a wedding when you're not in school, I think you will do just fine.

I've been planning mine since getting engaged last year! (Graduate in 2 weeks!!) we originally discussed making the date during one of my semester breaks. Ultimately we decided against that and I'm so thankful. Nursing school is hard! I mean extremely hard and time consuming. I encourage you to consider waiting until after you graduate (if you want a big wedding). I have had classmates miss births, graduations, funerals, and weddings because of nursing school. My advice is to plan here and there when you can but focus on that degree. But what works best for me may not be what's best for you. Good luck planning either way!

I'm not, but my FH is in Nursing school. It's funny that you ask this question because one of his lab instructors asked me the other day if he was making me wait until after school. I don't think it effects him much since I do most of the planning.
