Any luck with ordering from JJ's House?

mrs.williams, on September 29, 2017 at 4:37 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 17

I'm looking to order white faux fur shawl and white gloves for my fall wedding. If you haven't tried JJ's house, I'm happy to take suggestions as to where you've had luck with these accessories!

It's a mixed bag. For every good review I've heard, I've heard a terrible experience.

Yea, I'd try damn near anywhere else before ordering from them.

    Try Amazon.

I ordered from them once and it was ok product, wearable but it was deffinently cheap looking. I don't think it was worth the savings. I would not order a wedding dress or anything for a nice event from them

I actually ordered my veil at jjs house. It was similar to the one I tried on at David's bridal and for $25 I was willing to risk it. I was pleasantly surprised! I will be wearing it, it's just as nice as the $159 one I tried on at DB. I would say it's probably a crapshoot but can definitely be worth it!

I ordered from JJ's house for a formal dress (a simple one) a few years ago that I still wear. Normally I'd advise people to stay away for major investment pieces, but for gloves and a shawl that you could buy elsewhere quickly if you had to it might be worth trying.

I have ordered shawls and shoes to match the gowns from JJs. Accessories great, shoe soles look a little cheap though. FYI- the only communication with customer service is over chat or email. It did work out okay for me and the turnaround with my inquiries was pretty fast. Overall, it is a hit or miss I think but might be worth taking the chance it's always a risk when ordering online. I am happy with my gowns but if i do order from them again, i will not use the custom sizing option

I've heard the quality is really bad. You can tell from the pictures to be honest that it's cheap fabric. Check out cocomelody. They're the real deal.

I ordered shape wear from them and would not recommend them. Based on the sizing on their website, I would have been a large... I've never ever worn a large in my life so I was hesitant and ordered a medium. The medium was STILL too big. I should have followed my gut and ordered a small. And because it's technically an undergarment they refused to return it (even for credit) even though it was their mess up that I ended up with the wrong size.

My friend was a BM in a wedding and their dresses were from JJs house. They were okay and didn't look bad but the quality wasn't as good. One ordered the wrong color though.

No. Do not order from them. I ordered my wedding dress from there and it came damaged. They refused to refund me so it took 3 months to get my money back after I disputed the transaction.

My mom ordered an MOB dress from there and it was nothing like the picture. It was plasticky and smelled faintly of fish.

I think accessories would be fine to take a chance on but NOTHING ELSE. My FMIL ordered her dress for my FSIL's wedding and thirty minutes (not over exaggerating. Literally 30 minutes) before she is suppose to walk her son down the aisle the dress zipper busted out the back of the dress. They had to use fishing line to get the dress together enough to make it work. The dress wasn't too tight and we have no idea how in the world it happened. I can only chalk it up to horrible quality.

Someone just posted a horrible experience with cocomelody in the last few days. So be wary there too

Jjs house is a mixed bag. I bought my dress there and while I love it and it looks amazing, I wouldn't shop there again. While I got off lucky, a lot of their products seem to look bad.

The only things I have ordered from JJ's House were Pearl bracelets for my bridesmaids. They were actually better quality than what I thought they would be.
