Congratulations! One suggestion, depending on whether your caterer is providing the cake or if you're using a separate bakery, is to call the bakery soon and ask them to pre-score the cake. Then ask how many slices they will pre-score it to have and confirm that it matches your head count. When I worked in hospitality, on occasion, there would be a server who didn't know that wedding cakes are sliced smaller than a basic cake, and they'd say "we've run out of cake," which left us substituting our in-house desserts to make up for the "missing" servings. When my brother married his wife in another state, their servers didn't know how to slice the cake either and I wound up asking for food service gloves and slicing it for everyone. We're 10 days out ourselves and when I asked my bakery last week, I found out they'd planned to pre-score for a different number than the sales team told me the cake would feed. So glad I caught that! All the best to you both!

Take an evening to spend with your FH not talking about the wedding and enjoy each other's company!

Also get your photography list done to give to your photographer, things will go souchore simple and fast with the list of pictures you want done. We got all of our pics done during first look and was able to enjoy all of cocktail hour!

Confirm with your vendor or whoever is responsible for putting the linens on your tables the time they will be complete with it. Two weddings I know of had florist arrive and they couldn’t start because linens were not on the tables, delaying the florist 2 hours or longer.

Ensure you have your marriage license.
If anything small doesn’t go as planned day of, keep smiling and if you don’t react to it, seriously none of your guests will know 😉 Good luck to you ❤️❤️❤️
