Any Keto brides?

Shireen, on November 3, 2019 at 6:51 PM Posted in Fitness and Health 0 6
Do we have any brides who are on the keto diet or have done keto for their wedding? I started doing it a few montha back lost 20 pounds and then fell off the wagon due to some other issues. I am trying to get back into it but it seems harder this time around.

I have been for the last couple weeks. The first few days are ROUGH and I had zero energy but my body definitely adapted and I feel good now. The key is meal planning and having plenty of low carb food in the house to snack on.

I don’t do keto strictly but I do eat low carb. I’ve lost over 60lbs so far

I didn't lose that much weight, I wish I had!, when I started Keto last year. I've been on and off too. It's difficult once you slide! I find that if I make my own tortillas I do better. I use 3/4 cup of cassava flour, 2 tbs of avocado oil, and 1/3 cup (or so) of water. Roll them in a ball, flatten with a tortilla maker, and put them on a griddle. I use them for tacos, and for hamburger buns. Pinterest has a lot of recepies for keto/Paleo things too. I have stuck with no sugary coffee creamer. Using heavy whipping cream and monk fruit sugar instead. Good luck! Going to get back on track tomorrow myself.
