Any ideas on table fillers other than charger plates?

So I’m having a buffet style caterer do my wedding,I will be having a seating chart even tho it’s a barn wedding i want kind of formal but not lol,so that being said any ideas on what to put on the tables to not look empty other than the centerpieces and the napkins I was going to do charger plates for as many guest as I’m having 288 is the cheapest I’ve found for he quantity I need..any idea on what can be used instead to help make my budget more friendly?

I was thinking dollies I’m so glad you posted I think they look ok and should be much cheaper then charger plates which after wards are bonuse anyways lol

I like confetti sprinkled over the table and putting guest gifts on / next to their plates if you're doing gifts.

No need to waste money on anything, just use the napkin to fill the space. There are many different ways to fold them. Adding a flower or a sprig of something like rosemary, thyme, or lavender is nice.
Paper doilies look pretty in pictures, but, in person don't say formal wedding.

This is an awesome idea! I originally wanted to do chargers but they can definitely get too expensive quickly! This is a great alternative.

I am also doing a buffet style in a barn wedding. I think that our current plan is to rent or purchase colored napkins and place them at each seat, similar to what is shown above!
