Any Guyanese Brides or brides marrying Guyanese men in here? I am having a destination wedding and having a hard time looking for options to have my Kwe Kwe. Ideas, suggestions? would be greatly appreciated.

    My future husband is half guyanese, but I've never heard of kwe kwe, is that some sort of dancing event?

    Kwe Kwe or Queh queh is for the guyanese bride welcoming the husband into the family the night before the wedding... Food, drinks, dancing, bbq type of party
