Any busty ladies choosing risky dress tops??

KK2019, on June 20, 2018 at 2:01 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 38
I’ve been looking at dresses first and foremost based on how well I think it will support/cover my bust. I didn’t want to have loads of cleavage going on (actually as minimal as possible)...so mostly higher sitting strapless and corset backs to allow for extra room up top.

Well I just came across this dress ( brand new and a STEAL) and I have serious dress lust and butterflies 😍 However I’m very concerned that it will be too booby.

Anyone else with a larger bust pull something like this off without it looking too revealing?? I’m a D/DD.

I think it will be stunning! I’m large chested as well (38DD usually) and I think that it may be more than you planned but still classy Smiley smile

With the back being that low it may be. But it looks like its a stronger fabric so adding cups may be enough and with out a lot of support might also limit the cleavage you’re worried about Smiley smile my dress is low back but an illusion neckline and I have ZERO ideas of what I’m going to do haha

I would be concerned about the thin straps digging into your shoulders. There was a bride on here last year who had thin straps and a large chest and she warned about this for other busty women. She had deep red marks in her shoulders just hours into her reception.

I am a 36DD and yes I am going with a strapless sweetheart neckline. I have been assured that adding cups will give me all the support I want. This pic is with a bra on so with cups im expecting to sit up just like this

I am a 38DD myself, and my dress is actually a strapless, corset top Oleg Cassini gown, and it fits me flawlessly. Something like this would look wonderful but it may be a tad bustier than you like. As for a bra with this sort of dress you could certainly try the adhesive cups, but keep in mind how long you'll be in it and how much movement you'll be doing.

I'm a 38DDD so I feel your pain lol I'm concerned about the straps they don't look like they would support much. I'd definitely recommend trying this dress on before you purchase it. Is there a bridal salon near you that carries this dress?

This is just me personally but spaghetti straps on large chested women look off and tend to draw attention to the cleavage. I would look at getting thicker straps put on. That said I am larger at a 42 G. I have ordered a sweetheart strapless dress I am planning on having them add cap sleeves of some type too and hopefully it will work out cause I ran into issues with how dresses looked with my chest size

Yes I'm a 38DD and my dress looks a lot like this one. I am having cups sewn in and wearing a corset to hold them up and secure lol!!! I am hoping this will be enough (I think it will be)

I think my worry would be the straps. I’m busty and pregnant so even bustier than normal! My dress had thicker straps and my breasts were still ready to fall out!

I am large chest(32DD) but barely anyone knows because I'm always hiding it! I was super worried about this as well so I only tried on dresses with straps, with a similar shape as you posted. The type of straps did however make a big difference on fit, look, comfortability, support, and coverage. Both thin straps and triangle shaped straps were no good. The thin straps were way too weak and fragile to hold me up and I also felt like that could potentially snap. The more triangle shaped sleeves made me look bustier and just generally heavier than I typically look. I also didn't like another dress with a deep neckline. Thicker sleeves with a sweetheart neckline was the way to go. I ended up with the dress attached!
