I’ve worn glasses since I was 12. But I chose contacts for my wedding. I didn’t want to buy a new pair of all clear glasses and didn’t want my current glasses either. So contact it was, and I don’t regret it.
Both FH and I wear glasses and will be wearing them for the wedding. Glasses are part of the way I look and I prefer the way I look in glasses versus no glasses so it's not even a question, of course I'm wearing them. I will likely take them off for about 5 minutes for a few pics immediately after the ceremony in front of the church only because my lenses are transitions. But our ceremony is inside and the reception is outside but timed so that it's mostly happening after sunset so dark glasses aren't a big concern for most of the day
Glasses off for me, I think. I can’t do contacts and though I don’t mind the way I look with glasses, I think the look will be cleaner with them off. I can see fine close up, so I’m not worried I won’t be able to see. But I think I’ll bring my glasses just in case I want them at the reception.
I wear glasses and contacts and I tend to wear my contacts when “partying” so I will be wearing my contacts on the day off. Plus I plan on getting everyone matching sunglasses 🕶 so contacts it is!!! Maybe if I get super tired I’ll switch to glasses
I don’t wear glasses but my husband wore his on our wedding day. He took them off for a few pictures but wore them most of the time. He always wears glasses so we felt like it would’ve been a bit odd to have him not wear them lol. They’re like part of his face
Yes! I want to see everybody, really see them, and all the dainty little decorative thingies that our wedding planner/florist has done. Plus, that's how people know me. A woman with glasses. As we're having a very belated second marriage, a huge garden party at a nature preserve, I am wearing blue glasses that will match the blue of my floral sundress.
