View Quoted Comment Lol I do like football however I originally had picked 2/20/20 but I wasn’t a possibility for us so I changed it to 2/2/20. Unbeknownst to me that it was super bowl Sunday not only that but we live in Fort Lauderdale and this year it’s down here, we have some very AVID football fans not only invited but IN our wedding party but the way we see it is , super bowl is a yearly thing and our wedding is not. We invited only important people ,mostly family and close friends, so we hope our union is more important than something they can easily record and watch when they get home 🤷🏻‍♀️

I agree! We ended up changing our date to 02/22/20 after my DJ told me 02/02/20 was superbowl Sunday, but we found out early enough for a date change not to make a difference. I just wanted to make sure you knew . You're right anyone important will be there ragardless!

It’s just a guideline, no worries! I only had four months to plan a wedding and didn’t even book vendors until the last two months. Book the vendors you have your heart set on, don’t worry about the rest.

I went past on some of mine there just there as reminders you dont have to get them done when the app says so ...youll be ok take a deep breath and relax .... flourist yes youll deff want to get ahold of asap bc they tend to get very busy so you deff want to go see someone soon cake can wait till about 6 months depending on where you live etc... but youll be ok

Ignore those time lines. They are there to HELP you, not stress you out... We're getting married in May, and when I went to see vendors, they told me not to bother them till January. You have time. Deep breaths.

Don't let this stress you out! We are planning a wedding in just shy of 8 months. Engaged March of 2019 and will be married November 2019. You don't need to send out invitations until 6-8 weeks out. BM dresses do not take that long to come in. Your biggest priority now would be to find someone to marry you two.

Things will get done

I stopped looking at those lol they only make me feel super stressed ( I know they are there to help but doesnt work for me) I have a list of my own and for some reason less stresful yet the same things are on it

I have to tell you, ours still says we're behind on a lot of things (and I know of even more things that need this or that done, aside from the checklist), BUT since we FINALLY got our rings ordered, I am feeling so much peace and relief! I think if you finish the thing that's freaking you out the most in the back of your mind, you'll find the rest of it falling into place.

I was so freaked about rings because 1. I worked in the industry long enough to KNOW that you order months in advance 2. I promised myself it would never happen to me, and 3. FH loathed the idea of going into a shop to look at wedding bands, which is why it waited so long--so totally out of my control when it's something that should 100% have been within my control.

I hope reading everyone's comments has allowed you to take a deep breath! Just be diligent in doing your best according to what you what out of your day. It will all come together!!
