Anti-chaffing/Cooling Under Dress?

Rebecca, on March 4, 2017 at 4:56 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 8

Whenever I've tried on my dress (it's a ballgown with a big poofy tulle skirt) my legs immediately get reallyyy hot. Does anyone know of a cooling spray or powder that I could use? Similarly what anti-chaffing products would you recommend for my thighs?

Lanacane anti chafing is awesome. I also wear spanx a lot under skirts/dresses that go far enough down to avoid that awful chub rub.

I'm also a Spanx person. I have a pair that's a size too big so it's not tight, but it covers what it needs to!

And allow vendors to comment. They have great advice and can't advertise.

    I wore spanx.

But, as a runner, I'd recommend Body Glide.

I am wearing Bandlettes, you can find them on Amazon. I didn't want to have spanx shorts, and these are very soft and comfortable. Read the product reviews for tips on proper sizing.

I second body glide for running.

I either didn't have chafing or just didn't notice it on my wedding day.

Monistat has a chaffing primer that goes on like a gel, then dries to a powder-like consistency. I swear by it! I use it at the beach all the time.

I'm trying bandelettes. Someone on here recommended them awhile back. Haven't tried them yet though.
