I love moths and butterflies, would absolutely never do this. They’re a little dumb and constantly try to get themselves killed in my work kitchen but they’re living things and they deserve better.
Once FH was saving a moth at work in a tiny cup and the waitresses started freaking out because they thought it was a spider. He’d carry that too. 😂

I heard a story where the butterflies were underneath people’s seats as a surprise but then they were all crushed when they went to open them. This hurts me so much.

I heard a story that someone did this but they put them in white envelopes on white chairs and ni one noticed then before they sat down and they were all crushed. 😱😭

Now that I think about it this was done on an episode of Four Weddings! The bride shoot her butterfly out and it just fell to the ground. 😰 I remember a few were still alive but it wasn’t the fairytale moment she wanted at all. Poor butters

The logistics of this also seem crazy! Like someone has to go catch the butterflies and then fold an envelope and put them in there? Nobody has time for that! Lol like everyone else I wouldn’t do this either lol

I wouldn’t want to do something like that, however it could be nice for a spring wedding, the guests would have the option to take lady bugs home to help flourish their garden.
My wedding is going to be in the fall, so can’t do that one!
