After my consultation with Anomalie I was incredibly excited but nervous. It seemed too good to be true. So I began looking through Wedding Wire forums and pictures of brides that had posted wearing Anomalie.
My fiance really helped me be less nervous about the process and wanted me to go see with what made me happy. It helped me feel less nervous because my initial design fee would be refundable for a month, and if I did go through the entire process, I could return the dress if I truly hated it.
I went and tried on dresses at David's Bridal completely on my own. I needed to go by myself and not have outside influences changing my feelings on a dress. After this, I felt like I knew myself and what I liked a bit better, even if I didn't find any dress worth buying.
To address my concerns I reached out to Anomalie on February 23, 2020. I asked for a second consultation to go over some of my concerns and changes. I was worried they would make me pay first since I was using more of their time. My stylist didn't even worry about the payment and was more than happy to work with me again before I paid my deposit!!
She was excited that I went to David's Bridal and asked me to upload pictures so she could understand what I liked or didn't like about the dresses. It felt like she was one of my bridesmaids trying to help me instead of doing a business deal! She would happily answer all my questions and helped me make a few updates!
I ended up paying my $49 deposit that evening and moving forward! The following day, she uploaded some sheet lace options for me so I could see the difference! She determined my laces by my descriptions and looking at pictures of lace I said I liked!
