My dress is currently in production and I must admit I'm SUPER nervous. I couldn't find a dress I loved though and figured if I'm going to settle, I at least should give anomalie a shot.

I think there was a thread about this yesterday, but yes I got my dress from them. Paid about 1/4 the price of the $6k Lazaro gown I was eyeing. I got multiple pieces - a veil, a trumpet dress, a long cape, and a ball gown over skirt. Totally worth it.

it was too big so I did need alterations but not significant. I paid $200 for the alterations because I drove out to the suburbs as places in DC are $600 to walk through the door. Will post pics in July!

With your alterations, did you have these done through Anomalie or someone else? That is the part that I am curious about. I am grateful that I only live one hour away from San Francisco so I could hopefully have them do any alterations I need. I did go to their office for the measurements in February this year.

They seem to have go to tailors in major cities. I went to the person they recommended to get my measurements. When so recieved my dress Anomalie told me to be prepared to spend at least $600 with this tailor. I thought it over and decided to chance it with a local person who has fabulous reviews all over my area for wedding dresses. I pick it up next week but with the small adjustments that she did while I was in the dress this was definetly the smart choice. I saved $400 by taking it to someone they didn't recommend.

Im taking over their Instagram on July 14th to showcase all the pieces they made for me.

Wow that is pretty good. I look forward to seeing your dress. I hooe I dont have many akterations needed for mine, I have a corset bodice, and an A Line skirt, and it was measured from my height with my wedding shoes. I hope that this helps with fewer alterations at the end. Ill find out in about 8 weeks 😀

Ok...so I had my consultation with them yesterday and so far I am extremely impressed! My stylist was very attentive to detail and ran with my ideas. I takes to get for abkut 30 minutes about materials, style, exactly what I'm looking for and by the end of it she was able to give me a quote. $1600! That's it! I'm literally in complete shock. They also have payment plans, I just need to allow 7 months for production time. I'm very glad I decided to go with Anomalie.

I have a whole review I posted a while back on the discussion ‘Anonalie dress update’ that will give you a lot of details of the entire process I went through. But to sum it up - I would recommend them as long as you have the time to commit to the production. Keep in mind you will want the dress 1-2 months prior to your wedding to make alterations, and they usually take up to 6 months. Therefore your order should be 8 months minimum prior to your wedding.

The quality was great. My dress was $1650 (it was a dress with overskirt - appliqué on both) and alterations were another $1500. The tailor. I had said the quality of dress in store would be 10-15k due to the fabric and appliqué used. I would say it was worth it. Not to mention it was JUST as I asked them for.

If you have specific questions on the process however, let me know. Smiley smile Happy to share.

Here is a a picture of my mock up they sent me, and then the finished product. My wedding photos are not in yet, but I will post those as soon as they are done to my post as well. Smiley smile

please note that that due to my time frame Anomalie could not do the ombré dye to my skirt. Everything else is Anomalie, but the fabric dye was done my a local shop near me.
