Annoyed with my bridal shop

So I had a great experience picking out my dress. When I ordered, they said it would be here in july, it's now august. I had an appointment with my bridesmaids last weekend, which was also very disappointing. No one in the stop helped us, so I had to literally walk the store in search of clips so I could clip my girls dresses while they were trying them on. Someone came over to us in the beginning of our appointment, apologized that they were short staffed, and said someone would be right over, and no one ever came. I basically had to be the consultant for the whole appointment. I feel like they should have called to let me know that they didnt have a consultant for us, and see if we wanted to still keep the appointment. I asked about my dress while I was there, and they said it should be coming in the following week (which is now last week) and I still haven't received a call. I have plenty of time so it's not a big deal, but they just seem very unorganized. I'm just praying there are no issues with my dress and the girls dresses when they come in

    Me too! My mom is LIVID since she is paying for my dress, and my bridesmaids were really annoyed after their appointment.

    Not having a consultant for your appointment is awful and I would be upset. It is peak season though so they should have accounted for being busy.

    Your dress however might not be their fault. The shops usually have no control over the designers' schedules and shipping times. If your dress is manufactured or assembled overseas there might be an issue with customs and tariffs due to the current political climate.

    If the date on your profile is correct you have plenty of time to order, receive your bridesmaid dresses and your dress, and have ample time for alterations.

    I had one for my own appointment, but not for the bridesmaids. Which sucked because no one knew what they wanted and they needed help. I'm not worried about my dress, but I feel like it's wrong to tell me "oh itll be in next week!" And then it's not here. Maybe call me and apologize that it was delayed or something. I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt because I've worked customer service before, but it didnt make me look forward to my fittings
