Announcing your engagement to parents!!

My fiancé had a whole day planned for us down to the minute but made sure that he set extra time after the proposal and engagement photo shoot to make videos for both of our parents. I really loved that.

My parents knew it was coming.
I face timed them since we were out of town.

We were also out of town I just called. A few weeks later went to visit and went wedding dress shopping with my stepmom and moh

My parents knew about the proposal. When we chose our wedding date though, we made a card for my parents and brought over champagne

We FaceTimed both my parents (and siblings) right after it happened, then went over to his parents house since they live 7 min from us. We called his sister in the car on the way over. I already had plans with my best friend the next day so I waited until I could tell her in person... It was hard though!

Well it was my first time in Disney. I went with his family. The first night we went to Magic Kingdom, went on a few rides. They were trying to get a photographer to take pictures of them( I thought that was normal since I never been there before) so we are at the castle he pops the question and then I call my parents and my brother,sister and mommom were home and awake( he proposed closed to 10pm). It was the best day!
