Did you send out announcements?

I mentioned we were planning in an email to my family but have no idea if anyone read it as the weren't any replies afterwards. His family already knows.

It feels a bit redundant at this point i guess. We're doing save the dates later on this year.

Engagement announcements? No. We told all of our immediate family and close friends when we got engaged and the rest found out via social media.

We personally didn't send any announcements. Everyone I was close to was told the news in the following days, and it's on facebook, and most of our family and friends are on facebook as well. Some people do take pictures and send out announcements or an invite to an engagement party, but if you're not doing that they will all know when they get their save the dates!

Congratulations on your engagement Alexandra!
As long as you have told your close family and friends that you are engaged, there is no need to send out engagement announcements, especially if you will be sending out STD’s in the next few months!
