Anniversary Dance Gift - Non Alcoholic

Stacy, on September 4, 2019 at 12:37 PM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 5

Hi all,

We have decided an anniversary dance works well for our wedding (I know this doesn't work well for everyone).

We would like to offer a gift to the longest married couple, but don't want to give a bouquet (we are doing a toss) or alcohol (the people we think will win have some issues with alcohol and we don't want to contribute to it). I have heard of people giving gift-cards for dinner, but I know that we would need to give at least a $50-$75 gift-card and I was hoping to not have to spend that much. Any ideas???

A picture frame? A $25 gift card? A bouquet of flowers for the wife? A nice box of chocolates?

You could do a bottle of sparkling cider/grape juice instead of alcohol?
We didnt give a prize for ours. We had the couple give their best advice for a long marriage!

Hey Stacy! A photo frame or an ornament to display in their home could be a nice option. They will not be expecting a large and expensive gift, but just a token of acknowledgment is perfect. I do agree that if you were to give a gift-card for dinner that it would have to substantial but perhaps a gift card for a coffee house would work too?

I like this! I was going to give away a small bouquet, but maybe I will do both.
