Has anyone else heard of AmazingRegistry.com? I googled my name and my fiancé's and the search results included a registry on that site. Problem is that I didn't create this registry! Apparently they steal your information from public registries (Macy's, Crate and Barrel, etc) and then post another one for you with links to buy through Amazon. Waiting for them to respond to take it down. Anyone else notice this or have success getting theirs removed?? It's so frustrating and potentially confusing for my wedding/bridal shower guests!

Thank you for posting this! Our was on there too! I doubt most of our guests would have found this, but going to try and take this down too.

ETA: Want to add that this does seem super shady. When you try to remove it with the "OK" button, it goes in a loop until you have to select the option to send as feedback. I don't trust this at all.

I contacted their website to demand that it be removed. They have something that's supposed to be simple to remove - basically type your name and your groom's - but at least for me, that doesn't work. Still waiting on a response from the email I sent them.

My main concern is that their website doesn't update when people make purchases. Also, one of my three registries does not appear on there. And I noticed that it conveniently adds Amazon gift cards to every registry.

They claim it's legal to pick this information from any public registry. Total scam - I didn't consent to their terms and conditions!!
