Am i supposed to buy my boyfriend 2 rings?

I was never taught about this stuff so I don’t really know how any of this works

There's really no right or wrong here, if your boyfriend would like an engagement ring you can get him one but it's not mandatory and in my circle its not very common. My fiance would probably not wear 2 rings, I got him a nice watch after we got engaged. Do what makes you and your partner happy

It's not traditional or the norm, but there's no rule against it. As a practical matter, men's rings tend to be bulky and I don't know if wearing 2 on the same finger would be comfortable, or if your bf would want 2

You can totally do what you want, but it's not a common thing as far as I've heard. I did get my FH a silicon ring for the date we were supposed to get married last year (gotta love COVID). It's not his official band or anything, but he did want something, and I think he's planning to wear the silicon ring post-wedding for when he's exercising, cleaning, etc., so it made sense to me to get that for him.

Traditionally men wear one ring only after they are married. There really is not right or wrong way to do it. I bought my husband's ring like a week after we got engaged because we had already picked it and I was so excited and he wore it throughout our entire engagement as well.
