This might come off as more of a vent, but any suggestions/different points of view are appreciated.
We live in a different state than our relatives so we will having a small intimate wedding ceremony & reception by the ocean with our immediate family ( 0 ppl). The reception layout is attached. The biggest thing we were drawn to was the balcony overlooking the ocean. Our venue coordinator said they can set up a small dance floor indoors, but most people tend to dance and mingle outside. DJs are not allowed, but you can play music through the speakers (which play outside as well). We want our family who will be attending to enjoy themselves, but my fiancé and I are not fans of dancing by any means so we don’t plan on dancing that much. Depending on the weather, we will have our first dance, dances with father/mother outdoors on the balcony and if it’s raining, indoors somehow. Am I overthinking this entirely? Will it be weird to dance in a balcony? My biggest concern is our guests not enjoying themselves.
