I kind of have always hated the idea of bachelor/bachelorette parties. I think maybe Hollywood or dumb drunk horny people have ruined my idea of this tradition. And my bf and I will be staying together the night before the wedding. Just looking for alternative ideas for bridesmaids/groomsmen that...

I kind of have always hated the idea of bachelor/bachelorette parties. I think maybe Hollywood or dumb drunk horny people have ruined my idea of this tradition. And my bf and I will be staying together the night before the wedding. Just looking for alternative ideas for bridesmaids/groomsmen that don't involve strip clubs, bars, and/or getting wasted that are still fun. And yes i know I'm a party pooper. Smiley winking

    Not horrible, but self-important and slightly conceited. One doesnt normally throw themselves a party before their bigger party and expect others to pay for them. Express to your MOH/BP that you'd like to have a bach. Although it's not a required function. Smiley smile

    To be fair you are still pretty far out to be worried about it, but I'm sure if you expressed interest in the concept many would save up. It's fun for them as well.

    I wanna do an engagement party,bridal shower,bachorlette party all at once but I honestly don't know if ill have any. Why not do dinner and a movie (chick flick anyone?), or maybe a spa day or a visit to an amusement park or carnival??
