Alternatives for bridesmaid bouquet

Anna, on September 10, 2019 at 6:22 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 32

My Fh and i are paying for everything ourselves. I have 4 sisters who will be my bridesmaids. I'm trying to do everything i can to keep it cheap but i find bouquets for 55 or over. Even some of the hoops are almost up there too. Is there any cheap alternative to this? Do they even have to have bouquets? Any ideas would definitely be appreciated. Thank you.

Shave you thought about a single flower “bouquet” with just small greenery or even just a baby’s breath bouquet. That should cut down on costs and you could make those yourself. Also picking flowers that are in season will really help with the cost.

My fiancé and I are also paying for everything ourself. I am going with baby breath bouquets for my 4 maids. They are low in cost, $30 for each bouquet at my florist. Also AC moore does free arrangements, if you wanted to buy silk flowers from there they will arrange them in a bouquet for you for free.

I have an extremely small bridal party, so it was my medium bouquet, my daughter’s small bouquet, 3 corsages and 7 bouts, but I also got another 50 flowers for decor. And it was under $400 on Etsy with the sola wood flowers. She has different promotions and can customize. I haven’t seen the finished project as my order wont be ready until next year, but they look gorgeous and the reviews are quite high.

I am doing corsages for my brides maids. I didn't want to have them carry a bouquet that wont have much use.

    💐s are not mandatory.

You can diy them if you absolutely have to have them.

I saw some red 👜that had 🌹on them to coordinate with 💃 while watching Four Weddings.

Hobby Lobby has really pretty fake flowers if you want to do your own bouquet. If your not crafty enough to do your own (no judgement - I’m not) they also have preassembled flower bouquet. Every other week their floral goes on sale for 50%.

Mini lanterns are $5-$10 at Michaels, WalMart, Big Lots, Target, etc. Darling look:

I was thinking of doing this too. But since they are not going to be walking down the aisle with a groom, I want them to hold something. But believe me I so want to go this route. Way cheaper lol

This idea I actually like. Seems simple. My baby sister wants to hold a bouquet. I told her my wedding, my way lol. But where did you find those?

We had the bridesmaids carry rings that we supplied (cut down on the charge they were $4 a piece on amazon instead of the $20 she was charging us) and we had feathers and moss for fullness (cheaper than greenery) and a few tea roses and we supplied ribbon (it was $3).

We ended up paying around $25 or $30 per ring

Grocery store flowers and just bundle some ribbon around it. If u try you can for sure do something for a couple bucks.

Yes, way cheaper. Plus I wanted something they can use again. I was a bridesmaids before and I end up throwing away the bouquets after a while.

We attended a budget-friendly wedding where the bride incorporated her Japanese heritage - she and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle with beautifully decorated paper fans.

Check Amazon Flowers. They actually have a whole selection of wedding flowers-bride, bridesmaid, corsages, etc. for a fraction of the cost and they are delivered assembled right to your doorstep. Just an idea!
