Alternative to mother son dance?

My FMIL has mobility issues and won't be able to participate in the mother son dance

anyone else been in this situation and do something else? Or skip it entirely? I'd still like to do something for just them.

I think maybe a mother and son slideshow would be nice if possible, playing a long with a song that they would’ve danced to if they could’ve.

Hey Kim!! Your future husband can do a toast to his mother and even surprise her with a gift to honor her as an alternative to the dance. If they want to have some fun they could pick a nice song and sing it together or go with the slideshow idea that was mentioned in the previous comment!
