Alternative Day-of Bridal Suite Options - San Diego, ca

Caprice, on July 2, 2021 at 11:19 PM Posted in California Planning 0 2

So I'm the matron of honor in my best friend's wedding next March, and I'm trying to help her find somewhere to get ready with the rest of the bridal party.

The venue she chose has a "bridal suite" but it's a short few hour rental and is really only for taking pictures RIGHT before, and so we need a separate place to actually get hair/makeup done.

I'm still looking into the usual options: hotel rooms, AirBnB, VRBO and etc. but I thought I'd cast a line out there in case anyone has some creative ideas or suggestions? Smiley smile

Initially thinking along the lines of: RV rental, or STAR WAGGONS (like on-set movie productions), or maybe there's a company out there that does mobile bridal suite/transportation already?

Has anyone had a unique "getting ready" experience like that?

Depending on how many of you there are, you could also see if the hairstylist or makeup artist has a salon space you could use. As long as it would be close to the venue, this is doable.

We did hair at the salon and then makeup at the venue (which I realize is not an option here). When my best friend got married we did both at the salon (different salons, but still). A salon may be the best (and most economical) choice if that's an option. I think a lot of people get ready at home if they're having hair and makeup come to them.
