Alternative Centerpieces

Vanessa, on April 18, 2021 at 8:53 PM Posted in Style and Décor 0 13
Any ideas for centerpieces that aren’t real flowers that isn’t tacky? Thinking maybe something along the lines of candles or if anyone has rented centerpieces before and has feedback? I will have around 27-30 tables at the reception for reference.

Candles and greenery is fairly inexpensive and is very pretty.

I don’t have any floral on our tables. I’d you don’t want it it’s fine to skip it. Guests won’t remember or care.

Candles are inexpensive and you don’t need anything else with them

Have you looked at Something Borrowed Blooms? They rent silk flowers and I’m thinking about using their posy products in tall vases as a centerpiece.

Mine are similar to these! One large cylinder vase, some glass gems at the bottom, a thick long floral arrangement, water, and small candles

We're using gold/brass candlestick holders that our venue provides! We'll have maybe three on each table, then loose leaves scattered about, which are provided by our florist!

Candles, greenery, lanterns are all good options. You could also use baby's breath since it is a generally low-cost flower. Fake flowers can actually end up being just as much as real flowers.

I love candles with greenery. You could also spread some flower petals around the candles.

I'm opting for greenery and candles instead of florals. We also found a few candelabras from a wedding coordinator selling her business to scatter through the venue and are adding some vintage bottles with babies breath throughout.
