Alternate shower ideas Instead of cancelling/postponing

Drive by shower, zoom shower, 10 people or less social distanced in your backyard.....what are you all doing for your showers?

Would love to know how you plan to make it fun considering the regulations.
Mine in May 23rd, it was supposed to be at a brewery and co-Ed. I had it planned to the T. Well I know that’s not happening here in VA. Most likely we will be in phase 2 May 8th, so I guess our shower falls under that, 10 people or less and social distanced. Originally I was just going to get a cute picture with my fiancé in my shower dress and that was it. But now curious after hearing some other ideas.

All of those options sound great! If you have a lot of out town guests I would do a zoom shower otherwise maybe a drive by shower with everyone would be fun so you can have more than 10 people

My bridal shower was originally scheduled for early May. My wedding is June 27th. We are pretty sure that we will be in phase 2 by then and can have more than 10 people. If not, they are planning a floating shower for me on June 6.

Hi Aurora! Courtney shared a really fun "drive by" / "stop by" bridal shower idea that would work if most of your guests live nearby:

What are you doing for your rescheduled/canceled bridal shower?

Hi Lynnie! We are doing an open air small group backyard shower where some people drive by to say hi and others social distanced in our backyard. We are putting balloons and flowers and decorating the backyard. we are ordering food from a sandwich shop so everyone will have pre-wrapped food to be safe. We also might do a short car parade around the block! Would love to share how it goes and pictures!

I think that sounds really fun!! I love all the car parade celebrations I've seen - it's such a festive way to get a few minutes with each guest and share the excitement! Smiley heart

Can't wait to hear how it goes!

Hi guys our little shower went great! We had a virtual cheers with the wedding party and close family and a small little celebration in my backyard. We made our signature Wedding drink too which was fun.Alternate shower ideas Instead of cancelling/postponing 1

Oh my gosh I love this!!! All your decor makes it feel so festive and your dog is too cute for words! 😍

This is a true "at home celebration" - with an emphasis on the celebration! 🎉 I hope you all had a blast!
