Altering lace long sleeves

I got this dress online in the hopes of adding my own touch to it. It fits but the problem is i cant lift my arms all the way. The lace tightens on my arm, is there a way to alter the sleeves so this doesnt happen?

You will have to take your dress to a seamstress and she will be able to tell you if it's possible or not depending on how tight the stitch is. Your dress is beautiful! I wanted sleeves but had the same problem, so went a different route. Hope you can get it fixed!

That kind of alteration with that kind of material will be challenging. My advice, take it to a great seamstress and ask her to take off the sleeve and make it into a wide strap to retain the lace. Use the leftover lace for some sort of detail (around your bouquet for example). Warning, this kind of alteration will probably not be cheap.
