Any brides who have opened up a lace high neck and high back in alterations?? Hi! I have with my homecoming dress in high school! So it all depends on the weight of the dress and if it will be able to support itself without the high back and neck lines. Also what they did for me was add extra support to the back of the dress to make it more of a strapless heart shaped neck line dress. On that note find a good seamstress/ tailor that is willing to work with you. Take your dress in for adjustments but based on the look of your dress it should be doable! But I feel with all the lace you might end up needing spaghetti straps for your dress. But a good note is they can take the scraps from the neck and back that they remove to help you mold them Into straps so that your dress style is the same all the way. 😊 best of luck!
