Ask your seamstress. Mine said she would get started a month before the wedding. She doesn’t have a lot of volume in terms of work so she can get it done within that time-frame. Some others I’ve heard 2-3 months.

I had my first alterations appointment about 2 months before my wedding.

The boutique I work at starts at 6 weeks out, but the others are right, it could vary by seamstress. I wouldn’t start more than 8 weeks out though, since measurements can fluctuate.

Ya pure welcome! One thing my seamstress adviser me of was not to schedule too early as weight tends to fluctuate at this time. She said a lot of brides lose weight right before their weddings, which I hope holds true lol
