I'm getting married in 5 weeks and alterations still has my dress. They told me it would be done on February 13th and then they said March 6th and I still don't have it. I've only done the original fitting where they decide how much to alter and haven't tried it on for them since. Am I getting too close to the wedding day since they're still not done altering and not communicating their timeline effectively? Do I still have enough time ?

Don’t panic, you still have plenty of time! I would be asking your alterations person for a concrete date you can come in for your second fitting though. Maybe fib a little and tell them you have decided to have bridal portraits done 2 weeks before the wedding, so they push you up in priority.
