Hi there, I'm getting married June 26, 2022 in the Philly suburbs (North Wales). Originally I was planning the wedding from afar (I currently live in California), but we are unexpected relocating to Philly in March. I need to find a seamstress to finish my dress alterations. Any recommendations welcome!

Irina Sigal is a wonder. I was referred to her by a wonderful consultant at a nearby dress shop. Irina listens to her bridal clients' needs and shares knowledge to help you feel confident in your gown and enjoy your big day. She is will inform you about shapewear options for your specific needs. As an example, when I asked her about bust cups, she politely and frankly told me they were for cup sizes C and smaller. She recommended adhesive bra options to me and sewed on an beaded applique that a friend custom made for me.
Her schedule fills quickly and she is very efficient with clients' appointments. She will tell you specifically what to bring to each appointment. She does quality work and charges accordingly. Highly recommend.
Also if you call to book a consult, ask her which Center City garage validates parking for her clients. There is one about a 10-minute walk away, but I don't remember well enough to share the name. Good luck!
