Alteration Timeline

Congrats! Mine also came back and I was able to see for first time today. Since there are minimal alterations needed we will start in January for my March date.

David's bridal told me at least two months out. I wouldn't wait too long past 2 to 3.

Hi there! My dress just came in a few weeks ago and it was so friggin exciting!! The shop I bought by dress from books up super quick for alterations so I actually booked mine like a month after I bought the dress. My wedding is April 25 and I have my first appointment on March 10th, second on March 24, and the last on April 14.

Getting married April 18th. Found a place I wanted to go with for alterations a couple months ago and she told me to call in November to make an appt for January. Just called yesterday and set it up for January. I'd contact whoever you want to go with and ask what their recommendations are for timeline. Also depends on the dress and how much work needs to get done.
