Already reviewed...

Hi y'all! Our wedding was a month ago now and I still can't believe it! Our day was so great and we had almost no hiccups... that I knew of at the time! So I did several vendor reviews right off the bat while I was riding the high of our day, but since then some things have come to light about a few of them and I'm not sure what to do. For instance, our day went smoothly and (almost!) on time, but I've heard several accounts now of how rude our planner was to members of the wedding party. Do I go back and rewrite reviews? Or reach out to them directly? I don't know how to do this tactfully!! TIA! Smiley heart

I might reach out to your planner before changing reviews. There are two sides to every story. The wedding party could have been uncooperative, not taken them seriously in trying to coordinate the day, anything could have happened. I would just get the story straight before damaging their reputation, since you didn't see it first hand.

I guess I should have added that not only was it multiple different people including my sister, but also she wasn't helpful to my husband when his (vegan) lunch could not be found and she had been the one to pick up the food. He ended up not getting a lunch before the wedding! The back of the cake also got ruined in her car on the way to the venue... and then her plan was to just turn it around so 'no one would see it'... on a table where everyone would see it! Luckily my bridesmaid worked at a bakery and didn't listen to her when she said it was fine..!! When I saw the pictures I was pretty mad. Idk, how would I even bring it up to her in the right way?

I would probably reach out to the planner personally and find out what happened. If the conversation doesn’t go well or you feel like you need to change your review you can do it afterward.

You could email her saying something like "Hey, I've heard from a few members of the wedding party that there might have been some tension between you and them during the wedding. I want to be sure to get your side of the story as well so I can leave an accurate and honest review for you! This is just what I've heard from a few people: ....... Do you have any input on this?"

That was all on the fly, so I'm sure you could word it much more eloquently than I did just now lol, but that's the gist of what I'd say.
