Already married, still loving WW and would like ot be a rockstar! Paging WWJO- UPDATE- got my answer!!

The last time period for rockstars has just ended. They usually recruit a bunch at once by posting and asking for people to volunteer. I'm not sure when the next group will start. I know I'm not Jo, but I just finished being one so I though I'd jump in.

Why would your time here come to an end? Being married, you can still give wedding related insight and advice without being a "rockstar."

You can still post now that you're married. In fact, advice from married men and women can be particularly useful because those of us who have actually had our weddings can give insight as to what actually happened when we did _____. If you're still enjoying WW, continue to participate so long as you still want.

As far as the Rockstar thing, I think the mods finally picked up on the fact that something wasn't quite right with the program and after the last Rockstar term ended, they decided to take a break to evaluate the program. No idea if they will eventually continue the program or start something different. In the past, though, the mods would post a thread asking for nominations for new Rockstars and I think there was, at one point, a form to fill out if you wanted your nomination to be private. You could either volunteer your own name or the mods would contact you if you had been nominated by someone else to find out if you wanted to be considered. I guess keep your eye out for a thread from one of the mods if/when they decide to restart the program or start something new?

Amber, it was a group of poster who had been around for awhile that new members can identify as a source of help/info. We each had a small star in our avatars to identify us. The program would have been more effective I think if we had been able to do things like remove obvious spam and some other things.

Hey! As Midwest May pointed out we're reevaluating the Rockstar program so aren't starting a new group at the moment. But your time here doesn't have to come to an end now by any means! We appreciate it when people stick around after their wedding to give advice, and everyone can welcome new members, promote the guidelines, give help, get in touch with me or the rest of the Community Team when someone needs us...

I'm coming back less and less now that I'm married. I think it's helpful to get advice from people who are already married for sure (even more so than those who are still engaged) so I don't know why you would feel like you had to stop posting. I just come here when I'm bored at work. It's still entertaining
