Already married, but want a wedding!

So I’m kinda in a rut sorry if this is long. So our wedding was/is supposed to be May 16 of this year with all this going on My fiancé and I are unsure if we should cancel the wedding as a whole and save the 2000+ dollars for a amazing honeymoon or if we should push it to August because that is the only month my venue has available. But the thing is we’re already married so I’m not sure I wanna wait 230+ days just to have a wedding. Since our wedding is a pop up wedding we’re only allotted 2 hours at the actual venue & then our dinner would be later in the night. So is it even worth 2 hours for MONTHS away...also I’m getting my boobs done in July (can’t change the time, as it lines up with time off) so my boobs will be super new and idk if they’ll even fit in my dress Smiley sad I’m just scared that if I don’t have a wedding I’ll regret it, I’ll regret not getting the chance to walk down the isle. But since we are already married we could have a wedding shoot and still do the whole “first look”

So we basically eloped in Vegas (which was completely awesome) and then had the big fat Indian wedding reception a year later. For us it was perfect. I’m glad we did eventually have the reception because it was finally a chance for everyone to meet and formally “see” us as a couple, plus we got beautiful photos. Always an option to delay!

My friends had a wedding celebration like half a year or so after they eloped. i've seen other people have a wedding celebration even later on. basically, don't hesitate to celebrate your love if you want to even if it's a small one.

Hey Kaylyn, congrats on your marriage!

If you think you might want to cancel, have you looked over your contract to see how much of your payment you'd get back? Would it be enough to take your dream honeymoon? August will be here before you know it if you're worried about waiting too long to celebrate with your guests. Do you know by when you want to make your decision?
