All White vs Color Bouquet?

Justine, on August 18, 2016 at 8:52 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 33

I'm having a hard time deciding on whatever to do for my bouquet, two of the ones I love one is all White vs a colored one... my dress is a very white ivory (I was actually surprised when they said it was ivory) So I wanted to see what everyone else is thinking of?

This is the colored one but I'd use gold ribbon

I think both are very pretty, but if your dress is super white maybe you should go with the one with a little color.

I'm doing white with pops of color. My dress is ivory and champagne so I wanted my bouquet to pop!

I love color. I had an ivory dress and did all red roses. I love that my bouquet pops in our pictures.

I'm wondering this same thing. I love the all white peonies-roses look, but I'm worried that it'll blend too much in with my dress. I can't think of a color that flowers come in that I love enough to use in my bouquet, though.

I like the one that has the blush in it. My sister had all ivory flowers with pops of pale green and it looked so nice. I think all ivory/white would make the bouquet disappear.

I love the colored one. I found I like the more subtle colors like the one you posted because it's not overbearing but it does contrast nicely

Yeah I was initially looking at a blush dress so I loved the white bouquet against it now I was worried about it blending into my dress but it's so pretty lol and I love the pictures of the brides with white bouquet and the BM with colored ones so they're different....I could always do the opposite and have the BM be white and mine colored Smiley winking

I was in a wedding where the florist (brides FIL) told the bride "I never let my brides carry anything with color. Draws attention to the waist. Not flattering."

I had never thought of that and it really bummed me out because I've always wanted color and bling! I consulted that bride and she said she regretted not having the color.

My dress is all white so I added some color to my bouquet. This is what I gave my florist as inspiration

I think the colored one is nice because it offers contrast. @Katrina, that was my inspiration pic too - we made a couple changes, the finished product is my avatar Smiley smile

I like the one with the blush

I'm doing my main flowers white with accents of color to make it pop and not blend in with my dress.

Originally I was going to have white and blush for my bouquet and blues for the BMs bouquets but I decided to switch it around. It'll provide a good contrast and blue is my favorite color Smiley smile
