All the same centerpieces or a variety of different ones?

Yes, as a florist I can tell you that it is VERY normal for a bride to choose several centerpieces for her tables. If she wants an elegant, expensive look, she'll pay for 1/3 or 1/4 of her tables to be dressed with a tall, expensive centerpiece. That rest of the tables will be mid-height or low coordinating arrangements. Remember, it's not about matching centerpieces -- it's about coordinating centerpieces (and a pro can design a three foot piece with a coordinating low piece without any problem). We do it all the time, and if the florist is a true professional with an artistic eye, he/she will position those tall, impressive pieces in way that will make the florals super impressive. Don't shy away from the idea. It's the perfect bridge to connect budget and vision.

I will have mine all match. I have heard of this before(mixing centrepieces). I've seen pictures of it done well. If you have the right eye for that sort of thing go for it!

I only had 10 tables, so I used the same, high centerpieces, in a very tall room. My sister had 26 and she had half high and half low.

Mine will all be low but there will be two or three different ones of differing heights.

We are doing mixtures of differing heights but they will all be fairly low. The space is small and I find the tall centerpieces obtrusive IMO

Mine are DYI and I'm going to go with different vintage (looking) glass bottles and vases. I will be keeping the same flower (not the flower pctured), lace, pearls, colored water tho. And every other will have the tile and the rest will have mirrors... oh and pumpkins lol
