What have you found to be the most bang for your buck?? I have just glanced around, but I think getting seperate vendors will be cheaper than finding the all inclusive. Fiancee seems to think we need to go the all inclusive route, but we are on a tight budget. Just curious what you have found to be...

Our venue charged us two fees. 5200 for the inn. It has 13 bedrooms for our family and bridal party to stay in. Also includes brunch the next morning. Then we are paying 145 per person for 4 hour open bar, all set up tables, chairs, linens, wedding planners(two of them) set up, take down, cocktail hour with appetizers, sit down appetizers, salad bread, main course dinner( we get like 5 choices to offer our guests) wedding flowers, wedding cake( this is an award winning bakery vendor outside of the inn). We have hired a dj and photographer additionally. It is going to cost us about 13k but it includes so much and I don't have to worry about a lot. The venue has excellent reviews and I could not find a negative one anywhere. I would of been sold on this venue if it wasn't all inclusive but I am so glad it is.

All inclusive all the way. Our venue is all inclusive and we are paying $50/person (so, $10,000 for 200 adults (minimum)). That includes: Using the space as a ceremony and reception with cocktail hour in between, tables, chairs, linens, glasses, servers, family style catering (two appetizers, salad, pasta, two meat choices, two sides, wedding cake from local shop, various desserts), bartenders (plus backup stock of alcohol that if we run out, we can pay per bottle and take any leftovers home, and the pricing is current state minimums), drink mixers, coffee and tea, security, day of event coordinator, setting up and tearing down our decorations, use of their centerpieces if we want, etc, etc. There is no way in hell we would be only paying $50 (including tax and tip) per person if we had to find all of that separately. They are also one of the highest rated wedding venues in the area. I'm sure there are venues out there that may be more expensive than piecing it together, but in my instance it worked out awesomely. I don't have to worry about a vendor for the venue, the catering, the linens, the tables and chairs, the serve ware, bartenders, DOC, etc.

Be careful with this like this, there are different levels of "all inclusive" and some aren't the deal they appear to be. We found this one thing called "Wedding in a Box" and it offered quite honestly almost everything required for a wedding - venue, catering, flowers, centrepieces, MUA and hair, transportation, DJ, photographer, decor, and officiant - CRAZY! But when FH and I did the math it turned out that individually each thing and using a venue that did their own catering ended up being cheaper than the Wedding in a Box, if of course we were selective with our choices.

Our venue is semi-inclusive. We're paying about 70$ per person but that price also included taxes and gratuities. That supplied a DOC (They are worth their weight in gold) a custom menu for us (We needed this, my mom and I have dietary restrictions). Set-up and tear down, servers and bar tenders, centerpieces if we wanted theirs (We did not, but only spent 40 to make our own) Non-alcoholic beverages. And there was no need for either of us to worry about decorations since we picked an interactive art gallery. (no ropes on the ground to prevent us from touching things.) We provide the cake and desserts, DJ, photographer, florist and alcohol, and any other tidbits we want. We're coming in under budget because of this too.

First I liked the all inclusive venue because it seems like less work, but we went with different vendors because I like options. I would hate to be stuck with a baker who makes frosting too sweet, or a florist who up charges everything so I have to pay more to get what I want.

Watch with all inclusive... Ours is sort of all inclusive and the gratuity is 17% on everything so it does add up. It depends on how organized you are as well. Different vendors=more work coordinating. If you have a wedding planner then it will be so much easier to have different vendors.

We are doing the all inclusive package at our venue along with the ceremony site. It was the most economical package I found and really gave us the most bang for our buck. Many of the items I would have wanted to upgrade with at other vendors were included in our package. We are in So Cal and I feel like we are getting a great deal for everything we wanted. Having an Open Bar was very important to us.

We did all-inclusive it was billed as 'perfect for brides on a budget'. All we had to find was cake, DJphotog, flowers, and a photobooth (if we'd wanted it). Saved sooooo much time and hassle! Also, for the things we *did* have to find, they had a list of vendors they worked with, so that saved another chunk of time, to know the vendors were both reputable and familiar with the venue. I swear, if I'd had to arrange linens, chairs, tables, flatware, etc, we probably would have ended up etaing pizza off paper plates, sitting on the ground!
