Dedicated October 2016

all in one venue that allows dogs at ceremony

Shannon449, on April 3, 2016 at 5:10 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

Hello everyone!! My friend is looking for her venue and her and her fiance are having trouble finding a venue. He wants all inclusive, she wants lots of space and to have their dogs at the ceremony. They are looking in northern VA, all of MD and southern PA areas. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Nova will be very tough. Because it's Nova, space is limited, expensive, and dogs allowed sounds like the except not the rule for wedding venues.

We are getting married at Bull Run Golf Club, in Haymarket, VA. They should check it out. They have an amazing ceremony spot, reception spot, and allow dogs. It might not be big enough if she wants a LOT of space, but definitely worth checking out.

Any outdoor area, like a country club should accept dogs! Mine will be in my wedding in Michigan.

All the Kimpton and W hotels allow dogs, but they may not give you the space.

We've had dogs at all kinds of places; I'd just look for venues and ask them if the dogs can come. Usually, they'll be allowed at the ceremony and only outside.

She should contact Judith Guash (here) and ask for suggestions. That is her neck of the woods.

I'm getting married at the Piedmont Club in Haymarket and I'm pretty sure they allow dogs for the ceremony. I recently saw pictures of another couple who got married there and their dog was in the wedding! It's all inclusive and the ceremony space has a view of the 18th green, gorgeous.

Also try asking Shadow Creek in Purcelville/Leesburg area. It's open space.

I'm getting married at Battlefield Bed & Breakfast in Gettysburg- not all inclusive but includes chairs/tables/linens/DJ. Not sure what you mean about a lot of space but you get access to the whole property for the weekend, so you can spread out as much as you want. Also pet friendly : )

I'm getting married at the Inn at Huntingfield Creek on the Eastern Shore of MD. It's a dog friendly B&B with an estate house and cottages. It is in the middle of farm land- lots of space and water access. The owners cater, as well as provide beer & wine. There is only one local rental place that is easy to deal with. So not all inclusive but it's been super easy planning for me. My aunt is the florist in town.
