All in one invitations... thoughts?

Caitlyn, on April 3, 2017 at 10:52 PM Posted in Planning 0 14

Have you all looked at the all in one style of invites? We're in the process of choosing our invites and I was just wondering if anyone used that style or had any thoughts or opinions on it. I don't think I've developed mine yet lol.

Happy planning!!!

I noticed those on WPD last week after ordering mine. They basically have tear off RSVP cards and folded into an envelope. Seemed fine to me but not what I wanted.

They're called send and seal invitations. I ordered some samples and think not only are they affordable but they're really cute. Me and FH are going with a style we found on DB.

They look like this! I think we ar going with a tri gold style from wedding paper divas. I think they're really smart I'm just leaning towards using our website for the rsvp. I don't trust our guests to mail them back lol

I ordered them. They were great and affordable. There was no extra postage either

I ordered a few free samples from Invitations by Dawn because I was curious about them myself. I personally did not like them once I received the samples. I don't like how they're not in an envelope and anyone could easily pop them open. Plus, they would get easily damaged in the mail. They are convenient and cheaper though.

I got them for my wedding and I loved them. For one it made postage a lot cheaper since they don't weigh more than a regular invitation and you can use a postcard stamp for the return RSVP. I also was sure to write Please detach and respond by... that way anyone who was confused knew to tear off the RSVP. Mine came with clear circle stickers that I used on the back flap and both sides to ensure they would not get ruined in the mail.

They are usually a big hit with guests - something unique and different. They also save you a bunch on postage and envelopes.

My only concern with these would be any damage that would happen to them in transit. We had 2 of our invitations sent back to us, and those were beat to shit, dirty, torn, just a mess. So if you have nothing protecting your invitation since it is all folded into itself.. it could get damaged and it will definitely get dirty.

I would worry about them getting damaged in the mail. My grandmother used to send me letters using this type of stationary and more than once, they arrived in shreds in a USPS "sorry" envelope.
