"all because two people fell in love" table?

I've always wanted to do a "All because two people fell in love" table at the reception because my family has so many great vintage wedding photos. I have both sets of grandparents weddings and two sets of great grandparents, one of which immigrated from Italy so it's very important to me. Also everything about my wedding and venue has a very vintage feeling , I love the old black and white photos in general anyway. My fiance only has one set of grandparents pictures but it's ok because I thought we could do a few of them (we have their 50th anniversary picture as well). My real question is, is this an odd thing to do seeing as his parents are divorced and my parents are recently separated? This table also is a way for me to honor our family members who are no longer with us anymore. Thanks for any feed back

I was going to do this but my mom specifically requested we don't. She insisted it was like rubbing it in her face that she and my dad didn't work out.

We are doing a "Story of Us"
The Story of us.
table with old wedding photos and both of our parents and divorced and remarried. I don't think their decisions come into play at all for this. I think it's a great way to honor everyone especially our grandparents that aren't with us anymore, we didn't want to do the in memory of or anything else like that. It won't look like that, it will flow with our decor.
