Alfred Angelo color question: is candlelight the same as ivory?

I got mine through A.A. and I was told that the satin my dress is Candlelight (ivory)

But call tomorrow and ask for sure. Which style did you buy?

That is what the lady told me when we ordered that it was Candlelight, but I would just double check to make sure.... I ordered my veil the same day as I ordered my dress in ivory.

My dress is candlelight by Mori Lee it also came in white and ivory. The ivory and candlelight were not the same color. If Alfred Angelo offers it in 3 colors its definitely not the same. If white or candlight are the only two options I would guess its close to ivory but probably a bit creamier/darker.

@Soon2beMrs.K, My sister said she heard them refer to it as both candlelight and as diamond white, but I didn't hear that. My receipt just says ivory.

The sales associate wrote down the veil I tried on and the hair clip but didn't bring up purchasing them yet, just that there's a 15% discount when/if I buy accessories. She picked out a flower hair clip and veil and it looked so nice....

My dress is AA satin as well and is ivory and listed as ivory (not candlelight); I would double check, but it may just be a style # thing.

Glenda I do! I love how it has that extra details but it's not over the top it's very simple and timeless!

If is the one that "matches" has pearls like the dress has then its 111 (well it's the one my consultant said was the perfect match but you know how those ladies can be!)

I keep stalking the order status my dress is due in the 1st part of June... part of me doesn't want it but the other part wants it because I only got to try it on in Golden which stinks.

But I thought the ivory looked a lot better then the white and especially for a fall wedding and it still looks white (at least to me it did)

Unfortunately I had to try the dress on in white. They had a sample dress in ivory but not in my size--yeah, it wasn't radically different...

She put a few different 2T veils on me with different details along the edge, but I don't recall any having pearls, just blingy stuff, rhinestones or clear beading or whatever...

I went into the store focused on 2180 but 1136 was way more flattering.

How do you track your order?!

I go through google because it doesn't work when I type it into the URL for some reason.

but in google type in brides.alfredangelo.com and a link should come up.

then enter the email address you gave them and a password

Then a new page will come up and at the top there is a link that says order status and enter your customer id number (should be on the card they gave you if not it's on your large printed receipt) then enter your wedding date.

And all your info will come up...also if your girls ordered their dresses though A.A. you can see who ordered and their dress status also.

I think I ended up getting a single tier I wanted a 2 tier but I loved how this one looked with the dress.

Oh yeah, there ya go: status is "being sewn" and the approx ship date at the end of July. Neat.

I called a store in California since they are still open and she said they don't sell veils in "candlelight".

Oh look at you I never thought of calling a store on the west coast ... gosh I am dumb! I just wait until the following day!

Yes I love this little tool! mine says ship date is the 24 of May which she said it leaves their warehouse and takes about a week or 2 for it come in.

I'm having the same dilemma. I have a Casablanca dress in candlelight (on a rush order). I'm torn between 2 tulle birdcage veils with rhinestones (birdcage so the veil will not get caught on the beading on the bodice). Ivory vs champagne on Light In The Box (so affordable!). Here's the color chart LITB gives online.
I know it shouldn't be a world of difference since it's single layer tulle, but I'm very particular when it comes to clothing and colors. It's so weird, but that's why it's bothering me so much. Any opinions on the color of the veil? Thank you in advance, lovelies! 😁

I got married for the first time in 2006 and had a candle light maggie sottero dress and wore an ivory veil and it matched perfectly. I don't have any pics on my computer as that was 14 years ago but I can assure you it was beautiful and no one noticed a difference.
