Alcohol in At Brunch

Tiffany, on July 12, 2018 at 10:31 AM Posted in Wedding Reception 0 12
We are planning to have a morning ceremony with a brunch following. Im planning to have a sweeter champagne and a Mimosa punch. Should I include another alcohol choice? If so what would you suggest? We will also have a coffee bar with hot water for tea/apple cider/ cocoa and 2 juice options.

At my bridal shower brunch, we had mimosas and bellinis. Because this is your wedding reception, a sweeter champagne is perfect, along with the mimosa. You could always have Bloody Mary's if that's something your crowd would enjoy.

The coffee bar with other drinks as well is perfect.

Because its a morning/early afternoon affair I think what you have is perfect. Not many people will be heavily drinking that early (hopefully)!

You could offer one or two beer options for the men who may not want to drink champagne or mimosas.

I would either do a screwdriver or bloody mary in addition for anyone that doesn't like carbonation. Or have a beer option.

Definitely a couple of beers because you already have two sweet drinks. Bloody Mary's, as others suggested, would be a great touch too.

I don't think you need more than 2 alcohol options (unless you wanted to have more), but I think a Mimosa Punch and a sweeter champagne are pretty similar. I'd offer one of those, and a bloody mary or an alcoholic coffee drink instead. You could also offer "manmosas" too if you thought not everyone would drink champagne.

We were originally going to do a brunch wedding. We were planning a Bloody Mary Bar and Mimosa Bar each with a variety of toppings, juices, different types of hot sauce etc.

Personally, I like a bloody Mary/bloody Ceasar or red beer in the morning, sometimes. I like something not so sugary. But that may not be popular enough to serve your guests. Just a thought!
